Material Specification:

In our factory, we utilize low-carbon steel to manufacture ribbed hard-drawn steel wire that adheres to British standards 4482. The wire is specifically designed to possess a characteristic tensile strength of 460 N/mm². We produce wires in sizes ranging from 4 mm to 12 mm as (Deformed) bars. Additionally, sizes 4 mm to 12 mm are available as plain wire as well.

Principal Application:

Mebco mesh is primarily used for reinforcement in areas of concrete that are flat, including floors, walls, roofs, foundations, and roads. It also has the necessary flexibility to be bent and shaped into both open and closed cages for beams, walls, and footings.

Wrapping fabric is utilized to wrap steel columns and beams or reinforcement cages, where a concrete casing is applied to enhance fire protection.

Standard Size to British Standard 4482:

The standard sheet size is 4.8 meters x 2.4 meters, and we usually have all preferred sizes in stock. In square fabric, the cross wires extend 100 mm beyond each outside wire, while in structural, long, and wrapping fabrics, they extend 50 mm. The width we charge for is measured from tip to tip of the cross wire.

We offer the option of custom-made sheets in various fabric types, including nonstandard widths and lengths. We can supply sheets in sizes up to 7 meters x 2.4 meters.

Ordering fabric at its final width can result in significant time savings and waste reduction.
